Check In + Check Out

  • Check In Time: 3:00pm

  • Check Out Time: 11:00am

  • Check In Hours: 24 hours a day (advanced notice required for check in after 10pm)


Lobby Hours

  • Daily 7:00am - 10:00pm

  • Check in is available 24 hours a day. Please contact us at hello@metrichotel.com or at (213) 433-6700 if you will be arriving after 10pm at least 24 hours prior to your check in date to receive after hours check in instructions.


Cancellation Policy

  • All cancellations for standard bookings must be received by 3pm PST, 48 hours (2 days) before your check in date.

  • Cancellations received less than 48 hours before your check in date will incur a charge for one night (highest rate for multi-night stay) plus applicable taxes.

  • Prepaid reservations are fully paid in advance when a reservation is confirmed and are non-refundable, non-cancelable, and non-changeable.

  • To cancel, please use the Self-Service Portal link provided in your confirmation e-mail or by e-mailing us at hello@metrichotel.com.

  • No-Shows — If you do not cancel your reservation and do not show up by check out time (11am) the the day after your check in date, your reservation will be cancelled and you will incur a charge for one night plus applicable taxes.

  • Shortening of Stays — If your stay is shortened upon or after check in, the full amount of the stay will be due and no refunds will be issued.

  • Group Reservations — Reservations for three (3) or more rooms (either booked together or individually by parties traveling together) are considered a group reservation. Group reservations are subject to a different cancellation and deposit policy that supercede policies shown on individually booked reservations. A group contract may be required and a deposit will be due. If you or the parties you are traveling with reserve three (3) or more rooms, a member of our team will contact you. The policies below are a general outline and may be subject to change based on seasonality, room quantity, etc.

    • 3 rooms or more for 4 or fewer nights — 14 day cancellation policy and a deposit for the first (1) night of each reserved room will be required 14 days before your check-in date. If cancelled less than 14 days before check-in date, 100% of the deposit will be forfeited and no refund will be issued. For cancellations or shortening of stays two (2) days or less before the check in date, there will be a charge for the entire reservation and no refund will be issued. The balance/final payment will be charged to the card on file 2 days before the check-in date.  

    • 3 rooms or more for 5 to 8 nights — 21 day cancellation policy and a deposit for the first two (2) nights of each reserved room will be required at the time reservation is confirmed. If cancelled less than 21 days before check-in date, 100% of the full amount paid will be forfeited and no refund will be issued. The balance/final payment will be charged to the card on file twenty-one (21) days before the check-in date.  

    • 3 rooms or more for 9 or more nights — 30 day cancellation policy and a deposit for the first two (2) nights of each reserved room will be required at the time reservation is confirmed. If cancelled less than 30 days before check-in date, 100% of the full amount paid will be forfeited and no refund will be issued. The balance/final payment will be charged to the card on file thirty (30) days before the check-in date.

    • If a reservation is made for 3 or more rooms, you will receive an updated confirmation e-mail reflecting these group reservation policies and the applicable deposit will be processed using the credit card provided at the time of reservation. Please note a credit card authorization form will be required. These policies will supersede the policies that may be shown prior to receiving an updated group booking confirmation-email.


Valid Identification

  • Valid government issued photo ID (state or federal such as a passport, drivers license or state ID) matching reservation holder name and the credit card used to pay is required at check in. Check-in is not possible without proper, acceptable identification.

  • Reservations are non-transferable and a person who is not the original reservation holder cannot check in.


Credit Card Payments & authorizations

  • Reservations must be secured/guaranteed with a valid credit card matching the reservation holders name. Debit cards are not accepted as a guarantee.

  • For standard reservations, no payment will be taken in advance. Full payment is due at check in unless you have booked a prepaid, non-refundable rate. Please carefully read the cancellation terms for the rate type you are booking before making your reservation. After booking, you may also review cancellation terms in your reservation confirmation e-mail.

  • A credit card authorization for a deposit of $250 is required at check in. This authorization must be made on a credit card matching the reservation holders name. Debit cards are not accepted for deposits.

  • If you do not check in by 11pm on your check in date, a credit card authorization/hold for the first night will be made on the credit card used to guarantee the reservation. Room(s) will be held until check out time (11am) of the following day. If you arrive after 11pm, you may choose to switch payment to a different credit card. If you do not arrive by 11am the day after your check in date, the entire reservation will be canceled.

  • Payments that are irregular, incomplete or fraudulent will result in the cancellation of the reservation.


Parking

  • Parking is NOT included in the Standard Rate. Please select the Parking Package to include 1 parking space with your reservation. Parking is limited and if not reserved in advance with a Parking Package, cannot be guaranteed and will be subject to availability and an additional fee at the time of check in. Street parking is NOT readily available - please book the Parking Package to guarantee your parking space.

  • Only 1 parking space per room when booking a Parking Package.

  • Sorry, no RV's or large vans allowed in the parking lot.

  • Maximum height for vehicles is 8' 9".

  • Parking spaces are limited and exclusively reserved for The Metric Hotel staff and guests with a Parking Package.

  • By parking in our lot, you agree you are fully capable of operating and driving through a motorized parking gate, and will be responsible for any damage caused to the parking gate, whether accidental or due to negligence.

  • EV charging is available for use at your own risk. The Metric is not responsible for any damage caused to your vehicle.

  • When using offsite parking offered by the hotel, you assume all responsibility for your belongings, behavior and safety. The Metric Hotel is not liable for any loss of property or bodily harm that is a result of parking at or walking to the offsite parking lot.


Cashless Payments

  • The Metric is a cashless hotel. We accept all major credit cards.


We Are Smoke Free

  • The Metric is a 100% smoke free property. Smoking of any kind in any area of the hotel will result in a $500 cleaning and remediation fee. If a guest is asked to stop smoking within the hotel more than once, they will be subject to cancellation of the remainder of their reservation and asked to leave without refund. Tampering and/or setting off any Fire, Life & Safety equipment such as fire and smoke alarms will result in being asked to leave the premises without refund.


Maximum Occupancy & Visitors

  • The maximum occupancy per room is 2 persons. Sorry, there are no exceptions.

  • For the safety and comfort of all guests, a guest may not invite unregistered guests into a room or any other areas of the hotel. Unregistered guests will be asked to exit rooms at the hotel’s discretion. If such request to exit is not followed in a timely manner as directed by management and/or the front desk, all guests in that room will be evicted and no refund will be issued.


Quiet Hours

  • Quiet hours must be observed between 10pm-7am. Excessively disruptive guests not observing quiet hours may be asked to leave the premises without refund if requests made by management or the front desk to observe this policy are disregarded.

  • Misconduct and disruption of other guests is not permitted. Parties are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate eviction without a refund, plus the cost of damages.


Pets

  • Sorry, pets are not allowed. If a pet is admitted into a guest room, there will be a minimum $250 deep cleaning fee charged to your credit card and you will be asked to check out without a refund.

  • Service animals welcomed. A Service Animal Policies & Agreement form will be signed at check in acknowledging all hotel policies including but not limited to the requirement for service animals to be housebroken, to never be left unattended and always under the control of its handler. Please review the full agreement for all policies. Once a reservation is confirmed, a copy of the agreement can be requested via e-mail at hello@metrichotel.com.


Financial Responsibility

  • By making a reservation, you agree to all the Terms & Conditions and understand and agree to be financially responsible for charges incurred per the cancellation policy, the total amount due for your entire stay, incidentals and damage charges that include but are not limited to: property damage, smoking of any kind in guest rooms or common areas, pet cleaning fees, any other loss or damage to the premises or its contents and any damage that renders the room un-rentable to the next scheduled guest.

  • You also understand and agree that you will be responsible for damages and/or extra cleaning and remediation caused by unregistered guests/visitors.

  • Your credit card will be authorized for $250 for incidental charges. The length of time it takes for the authorization to clear from your account will vary and depend on your financial institution. In the event of damage, theft, extra cleaning, etc., the card on file will be charged a minimum $100 to cover expenses.

  • In the event a false fire alarm results in the evacuation of the premises due to a guest or non-registered guest/visitor violating the strict non-smoking policies or tampering with fire alarm pulls, smoke detectors or any other Fire, Life & Safety equipment, The Metric reserves the right to impose a charge to the reservation holders credit card to cover incurred costs.


Late Check Out

  • Guests must vacate the room by 11:00am on the check out date unless a late check out has been purchased. Please inquire about late check out fees at the front desk. Guests who do not vacate the room by check out time and have not received approval from management will be charged the standard late check out fees applicable on that day. Any check outs after 2pm will be charged for one additional night at the current rate.


Special Requests

  • We will always do our best to accommodate special requests noted at the time of reservation (adjacent rooms, early check in, room location, etc.), but such requests are not guaranteed and subject to availability.


COVID-19

  • Guests must adhere to social distancing guidelines and mask mandates or recommendations set forth by the CDC and/or local health authorities.

  • Travel requirements and restrictions in place are constantly changing. Please check national, local and health advisories prior to making a reservation.

Guest Code of Conduct

  • We respect our guests and expect the same courtesy from all of our patrons. We have a zero-tolerance policy for hostility, profanity, bullying or any type of disruptive behavior toward patrons or our staff. In such instances, you will be asked to immediately leave the property without refund.

Other

  • By booking, you authorize The Metric Hotel to send text messages and emails with details regarding your reservation information and other offers. Message/data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

  • Illegal activity on the premises is strictly prohibited and will result in eviction from the hotel without a refund.

  • Guests are not allowed to bring bicycles, mopeds, scooters, heating and/or cooking electrical appliances such as toasters, hot plates and mini-cookers into Rooms.

  • Open flames of any kind (including but not limited to: candles, lighters, other incendiary devices, etc.) are prohibited everywhere on the property including the parking lot. All cooking is prohibited on the premises.

  • If you are paying for another guests stay and not staying at the hotel, you will be required to complete and submit a credit card authorization form and full payment must be made in advance.

  • Modifications to any mechanical, electrical or plumbing are strictly prohibited and can result in eviction without refund, in addition to charges for damage and/or restoring the building back to its original condition.

  • The Metric Hotel reserves the right to refuse service to anyone. Arriving for check in under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol is grounds for cancellation of reservation (cancellation fee will apply) in order to prevent disruptions to other guests.

  • Availability is subject to change to due maintenance and unforeseen events or occurrences that prevent rooms from being occupied.
