General Provisions of Use of the Site

Your reservation and stay at The Metric Hotel will be subject to these Terms of Use and the Reservations Privacy Policy defined below.

The Metric Hotel operates the website www.metrichotel.com, as is referred to as the “Site”. By accessing this Site, you agree to all of the terms and conditions described below (“Terms of Use”). Your use of the Site acknowledges and affirms such agreement.

When making a reservation in any manner - online or by telephone, it will also be deemed that you have read, understood and accepted these Reservation Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. When making a reservation online it will also be deemed that you have read, understood and accepted the Terms & Conditions for using the Site. Any relevant terms and conditions shall be incorporated into your reservation and the accommodation agreement. These Terms of Use are intended to definite the terms and conditions under which The Metric allows it’s guests, referred to here as “Guest(s)”, to benefit from all services, particularly any reservation services, that are available on this Site. Reservations made through third parties are considered a separate legal relationship and The Metric Hotel has no liability for any acts of omissions of such party including their observance of your data protection rights.

You agree when making a reservation that it is for legitimate use only in good faith by you and other registered guests and not for other purposes, including but not limited to assigning and/or reselling rooms (including on third party websites), or making speculative reservations based on the anticipation of demand. It is also impermissible to make reservations and or/ check in on behalf of other parties. By making a reservation under your name, you and 1 guest (unless additional guests are approved by management) are the only party allowed to check in and stay at The Metric.

We invite you to read these Terms of Use prior to making a reservation and accepting. Acceptance is mandatory for all reservations and any service offered on the Site and prior to check in. These Terms of Use can be accessed and printed from a personal device or may also be requested in print from management. We encourage all Guests and Site visitors to review the Terms of Use to ensure they are aware of the most up to date terms.

The Metric Hotel reserves the right to modify or update these Terms of Use at any time without notice, and unless otherwise indicated, changes would become effective immediately after positing on this page.

Services

Services at The Metric Hotel include reservation services for “Rooms” and herein collectively referred to as the “Hotel”, as well as any complimentary and ancillary services to Rooms on this Site and at onsite at the Hotel.

During the reservation process, the characteristics, available dates, price, payment conditions and applicable conditions of sale such as cancellation policy, guarantee policies, pet policies and check in/check out time, will be presented. We urge all potential guests to review details carefully.

Partners

The Metric Hotel holds agreements with third party Sites (OTA’s), which allows Guests to search for and reserve a Room on these third party Sites. The applicable terms and conditions of sales on OTA Sites are pursuant to the OTA’s conditions. The Metric Hotel shall not be liable or responsible for statements or guarantees made by such parties. Such third party reservations are not available on www.metrichotel.com, only directly at such OTA Site. However, all Guests booking through an OTA or third party will still be required to accept these Terms of Use.

Reservations

Reservations can be made by the Guest on this Site or on the site of an authorized OTA. Any prepaid reservations made on fraudulent OTA sites falsely claiming to be in partnership with The Metric Hotel cannot be honored. The Guest provides search criteria such as length of stay, extra options such as late check out or parking, and the results shall be provided on a third party Site operated by a contracted web reservation system. The results shall include the total price of the reservation including applicable taxes, facility fees (if any) and a link to conditions such as these Terms of Use, cancellation policy, guarantee policy, pet policy and check in/check out times. Upon selection of a reservation, the Guest shall be prompted for payment information to be used either for prepaid reservations, required deposits as described in the cancellation and guarantee options of the selected Room, or as a general required credit card guarantee. Guests will also be prompted to read and accept the Terms of Use prior to submitting a reservation. Upon payment or confirmation of a reservation as applicable in the Terms of Use, the Guest will receive a confirmation email summarizing the Rooms and Services reserved, pricing, conditions accepted (check in/check out, guarantee policy, cancellation policy, etc.), the date the reservation was made, address to the Hotel and access to the Terms of Use.

The Guest may make a reservation for up to 4 Rooms on behalf of others. Reservations for 5 or more rooms will be subject to the conditions applicable to groups. For group reservations, please contact us at hello@metrichotel.com.

Price and Payments

Prices for a reservation(s) are indicated before, during and after a reservation via a confirmation e-mail. Prices shown are per room for a maximum of 2 persons. The accommodation of any extra guests is subject to management approval and if approved, is subject to an additional cost per night.

The total price for a reservation is provided in the local currency. Unless otherwise stated, any optional Services that are not offered during the reservation process are not included in the price. The Hotel collects taxes due (including but not limited to transient tax and sales tax) as applicable and remits them to the proper authority. Any modification to tax rates or the introduction of new taxes or surcharges imposed by governmental authorities will automatically be calculated and reflected in the price indicated on the billing date regardless if this amount was provided in the reservation summary and confirmation.

The Guest provides payment information to either: 1) prepay a reservation, 2) guarantee a reservation, 3) to make payment as part of a check in or check out procedure on the platforms mentioned below.

The Metric uses various suppliers to secure payments by bank / credit card. Credit cards are checked for validity by these partners and can be refused for several reasons, including but not limited to: limit reached, input error, stolen or blocked card, etc. In the event of any such problem, the Guest will have to either provide a different valid credit card or approach their bank for resolution. All reservations require a credit card prepayment or guarantee in order to be processed.

Acceptable payment methods are mentioned on the payment page of the Site may Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, JCB and Union Pay. This list is subject to change from time to time without notice. The Hotel may ask the Guest to present an identification document such as a passport or a drivers license for the purpose of credit card fraud prevention.

If a Guest has not prepaid a reservation, full payment plus a deposit of $150 will be requested at the time of check in, or a deposit in the form of a credit card pre-authorization in the amount of the total stay plus a deposit of $150.

In the event that a guest fails to show up on their check in date noted on the reservation (“no show”), the Guests reservation will be cancelled and the Hotel will put the cancelled rooms up for sale. If the reservation is non-cancellable/non-refundable, the Guest will not be entitled to any reimbursement or compensation. If a reservation is guaranteed by credit card, the Hotel will charge the Guest the cost of the first night on the credit card that has been provided as a guarantee.

Check In / Check Out

The Metric has implemented a self check in and self check out process that begins through a Self Service Portal on your personal device such as computer, tablet or mobile phone, and is finalized via self-service kiosk at the Hotel. If the process is not started on your personal device prior to arrival, the entire process can take place on the self-service kiosk at the Hotel. A member of our staff can also check you in. Check out can occur via the Self Service Portal or in person at the front desk. You will receive instructions via SMS on the morning of your check in date.

Full payment for non-prepaid reservations shall be made by credit card at the time of check in at the self service kiosk located at the Hotel - cash is not accepted, only credit cards. An additional “pre-authorization” or “hold” for $150 will be made on the same credit card (unless arrangements are made at the front desk). The pre-authorization/hold will be returned to the credit card upon check out as long as no damage or incidentals are incurred during the stay. The hold will automatically be released shortly after check out time upon room inspection. Please note that pre-authorizations are usually released within 24-48 hours, but can take up to 10 days depending on the cardholder’s bank.

A staff member will be available at the front desk or via telephone from any house phone, including one located at the front desk, for assistance with check in, check out, or any questions you may have about your stay.

Check in time is 3pm or later and check out time is by 11am. Early check in and late check out can be arranged for an additional fee and can be added by contacting the front desk or through the Extras section in the Self Service portal. Any guest who has not checked out by 1pm will automatically be charged for 1 additional night if the Hotel is not sold out. If the Hotel is sold out that night, all personal items will be collected from the Room and stored for retrieval by the guest.

Cancellations and Modifications

The standard cancellation period is 48 hours before the check in date, but other cancellation terms may apply depending on which rate you have booked. Cancellations can be made through the Self Service Portal link in your confirmation e-mail. Please check your confirmation e-mail and the cancellation policies broken down in the Reservation Terms & Conditions section on this page.

Obligations and Responsibility of the Guest

The Guest is solely responsible for their choice of services and the suitability of such selection(s) for their needs. The Metric Hotel disclaims any liability in connection with the Guest’s choices. To the maximum extend permitted by applicable, law, the Sites are provided “As Is” without warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchant availability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We make no warranties of any kid and do not guaranty or assure that our Site will be available, adequate, accurate, uninterrupted or without error.

The Guest is solely responsible for all information provided when making a reservation. The Hotel cannot be held liable for erroneous or fraudulent information provided by a Guest.

The Guest agrees to use the Site and the Services offered therein in compliance with applicable regulations and these Terms of Use. In the event a guest breaches their obligations under these Terms, the Guest is liable and shall indemnify The Metric Hotel for damages caused by them to The Metric Hotel or third parties. In this regard, the Guest commits to guaranteeing The Metric Hotel against all claims, actions of recourse of any kind that may arise, and to compensate for any damages, fees or compensation related thereto.

Material and information displayed on the Site belong to The Metric Hotel. Any download, reproduction or retransmission of this material other than for non-commercial, individual use, is strictly prohibited unless prior written consent has been attained from The Metric Hotel. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, The Metric expressly excludes any liability for any direct, indirect, or consequential loss or damage incurred by any user in connection with this Site, any websites linked to it and any materials posted on them, including but not limited to any loss of income or revenue, loss of business, loss of profits, loss of savings, loss of data, loss of goodwill, and any other type of loss or damage of any kind regardless of how it arose and whether caused by tort (including negligence), breach of contract or otherwise, even if foreseeable.
